# Prometheus

`prometheus.conf` configures the dedicated metrics HTTP listener. Enable the `prometheus` feature in [`_features.conf`](https://docs.walt.id/enterprise-stack/setup/configurations/config-files/features.md). The feature is **off by default**.

## Example File

```hocon[prometheus.conf]
metricsHost = "0.0.0.0" // Host to listen on
metricsPort = 3002      // Port to listen on
```

## Fields

### `metricsHost`

_String_ — Bind address for the metrics server. Default is `"0.0.0.0"`.

### `metricsPort`

_Integer_ — Listen port for scraping. Default is `3002`. Keep this off the public API port in [`web.conf`](https://docs.walt.id/enterprise-stack/setup/configurations/config-files/web.md).
