#Pre- vs. Authorization Code Flow (OID4VC)

• The credential issuer may also request credential presentations to authenticate or identify the user during issuance -> means the user is not always authenticated when a credential is offered
• The Authorization Code Flow enables the issuer to verify information from the holder during the issuance flow. The information verified can optionally be used as claims in the to be issued credential.
