To issue Microsoft Entra Verified ID credentials, the walt.id Issuer API will interface with Microsoft APIs. For that you will need to create an app within your Azure Cloud Account. This app setup will provide the necessary credentials for the Issuer API to authenticate against Microsoft's APIs.

Below, you find step-by-step instructions on how to create the App in your Azure account and add required permissions.

The app credentials received will be used in subsequent issuance request via the walt.id Issuer API.
