HTTP Client

httpclient.conf selects the Ktor HTTP engine used for outbound calls (OIDC discovery, credential offers, webhooks, and similar fetches). The httpclient feature is enabled by default.

Example File

httpclient.conf
globalDefault = {
    http: CIO  # CIO / Java / Apache5 / OkHttp / Native
}

Fields

globalDefault.http

String — HTTP engine for new outbound clients. Supported values: CIO, Java, Apache5, OkHttp, Native.

CIO is the usual production choice on the JVM.

service

Object, optional — Per-service overrides keyed by service name. Omit it unless you need a different engine or timeout profile for a specific caller. Each entry uses the same shape as globalDefault.
